Our client, a mining company in West Perth, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team. This permanent full-time role is essential for managing the company's accounts payable functions and ensuring smooth payroll operations.
1. Liaise with HR Manager, Site managers and employees to collate leave forms, rosters, workers compensation forms, and provide monthly leave reports and any relevant information required for payroll preparation.
2. Respond to payroll and leave queries from employees.
3. Serve as centralised point of contact between the Company and the outsource payroll provider
4. Prepare regular (likely weekly, but as agreed) collations of payroll documentation for the benefit of the outsource payroll provider
5. Assist with payroll preparations-bi-monthly and Monthly cycles
6. Assist with collating any documentation relating to payroll as requested by the business
7. Accounts Payable invoice processing
8. Approval of invoices out of Itrack system
9. Accounts Payable supplier/payment queries
10. Accounts Payable supplier payments & scheduling
11. Update weekly cash flow forecast
12. ERP assistance/training for site personnel
13. Follow Authority Delegation Matrix
14. Training and supervision of AP junior
15. Accounts Receivable invoice processing
16. Purchase order maintenance
17. New supplier entry
18. Credit card reconciliations and entry
19. Petty cash reconciliation and entry
20. Liaising with purchasing officer
21. Liaising with mine site managers/approvers
22. Other ad hoc duties
