ALS Global require an experienced Lab Technician for our Food and Pharmaceutical Lab in Rydalmere - APPLY today.08th November, 2024 Imagine your future with usAt ALS, we encourage you to dream big.When you join ALS, you join a purpose and values-driven team that empowers you to innovate, create, and thrive.Our global team turns up each day with passion and commitment to do amazing things, always challenging our thinking to find ways to solve some of the world's most complex problems for a safer, healthier world.The Food & Pharmaceutical Division operates a modern laboratory at Rydalmere, Sydney that is equipped with the latest in analytical technology.The division is seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to become a part of the Chemistry team that strives to exceed customer expectations by delivering quality results on time and by maintaining strong relationships with their clients.This is a full-time role with the hours to be discussed with the successful candidate.The ideal candidate will be flexible with their available days and hours.Responsibilities: Processing pharmaceutical (Raw Materials/ Finished Product) samples for the analysis within our GC analysis team.Reviewing and processing raw data for reporting in LIMS.Ensuring samples are analysed within the expected timeframe.Highlighting anomalies in results, sample type and behaviour.Following the assigned workflow to ensure anomalies are identified early in the process.Ensuring the laboratory operates in an efficient and safe manner. The Essentials: Degree in Chemistry or similar discipline for e.g.Cert IV or Diploma-TAFE.Experienced in Analytical Instrumentation.Over one year of experience working in a laboratory environment.Ability to multi-task and shift priorities quickly.Flexibility with the working hours based on production requirements.Ability to work within and across teams as well as autonomously.A strong commitment to client service.Dedication to good laboratory practices with a focus on quality of results, health, and safety.
