We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Officer to join us on a 6-month fixed term contract. In this role you will ensure our customers are highly regarded and receive exceptional service throughout the flow of accurate order processing, including readying loads for shipment and managing inbound and outbound inquiries. By maintaining effective daily communication with the McCain sales team and key stakeholders, including but not limited to, customers, transport suppliers, and cold stores, you will respond and resolve any internal/external customer queries or complaints ensuring we continue to deliver a high level of service whilst consistently meeting the ongoing needs of our customers.
This is a 6-month fixed term contract.
About the role
* Participate in and act in accordance with all safety and Chain of Responsibility policies
* Responsible for on time, accurate supply of orders
* Provide informed, accurate and prompt responses to customer inquiries
* Process and investigate to resolution customer returns
* Provide load out summaries to cold stores and transport carriers
* Create, distribute and file Incident Reports regarding defined McCain or Vendor performance failures
About you
* Extensive experience in customer service within an FMCG environment inc. distribution / supply chain environment
* Thrives handling multiple priorities at the same time
* Accurate data entry skills and document management
* Well organised approach to record keeping
* Ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships
* Can analyse information and use logic to address work related issues
* High computer literacy with strong skills in Microsoft word, specifically Microsoft Excel
