You will assist in providing specialist, commercial compliance advice to enable our internal stakeholders and our business partners to achieve the strategic and operational objectives of the business.A summary of responsibilities will include, however not be limited to:Assisting with the implementation of policies, and procedure reviews and documentationConducting compliance assurance reviews and advising on process and control improvementsAssisting with embedding the compliance framework, including enhancing supervisory frameworks and implementing effective monitoring and testing activitiesAssist with the identification, recording, monitoring and remediation of insurance incidents, including the timely reporting of incidents to external partnersProviding compliance advice and sign-off on marketing material and marketing campaignsWhat you'll bringTogether with experience in a similar role, we are seeking the following skills and experience:10+ years of experience working within the insurance industry in a risk and/or compliance role including relevant risk and compliance qualifications eg. Tier II, GICOP, Certificate in Risk and Compliance Management, Certificate in Legal studies, Certificate in Business ManagementExcellent working knowledge of Financial Services Law and General Insurance Code of PracticeAble to quickly develop an understanding of the project, its environment and related issuesBe a self-starter and take initiativeDemonstrated communication skills, facilitation skills and report writing skillsWhat you'll experienceWe embrace diversity of thought and love to take on challenges with a pragmatic and innovative approach.
