In this role, you'll:
Lead the development and implementation of Transport for NSW digital communication strategy, aligning with whole of government objectives
Manage and optimise digital communication channels to enhance user experience and engagement
Lead the creation, curation, and management of high-quality digital content
Oversee the design team to develop visually compelling, on-brand creative assets and ensure consistency in the visual representation of Transport for NSW across all communication channels, including digital
Ensure content resonates with diverse audiences, adheres to brand guidelines and accessibility standards, and includes engaging multimedia elements developed in collaboration with internal and external partners
Partner with other Directors across the Communications team to align strategy, implement continuous improvements, drive workplace culture, inspire effective collaboration
Drive the adoption of innovative technologies, including AI, to enhance communication capabilities, improve user engagement and service delivery.
Lead, mentor and empower a team of multidisciplinary communications specialists with a focus on driving professional development and delivering impactful communication solutions

About you
You are a forward-thinking leader with extensive experience in managing digital communication channels, including websites, portals, and social media platforms. You excel at creating user focused content, driving engagement and delivering strategic initiatives aligned with organisational and government goals.
Your expertise includes managing graphic design projects, ensuring consistent branding, and integrating emerging technologies like AI to enhance communication and optimise user experiences. You have a strong understanding of accessibility compliance, and performance optimisation through data insights.
Your ability to foster relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external key stakeholders be key to your success in this role. With demonstrated leadership skills, you excel at managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring their continuous growth and development.
You’ll possess tertiary qualifications in communications, media, graphic design or public relations or have professional experience in a digital creative services environment. Your strategic thinking, adaptability and deep knowledge of emerging communication trends enable you to deliver results in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
