Firmware Engineer - Surveillance and Communications
We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineer to join our team in Adelaide's defence precinct Edinburgh Parks, SA.
About the Role:
* Develop and maintain firmware supporting mission-critical defence radar systems.
* Design and develop new VHDL (Virtual Hardware Description Language) firmware.
* Maintain current product line and provide engineering support for hardware and firmware.
About You:
* Knowledge and understanding of the engineering development lifecycle.
* Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
* Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations.
* Experience in Intel FPGA VHDL firmware development cycles.
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience with Modelsim/Questasim Advanced Simulator and TCL scripting.
* Hardware level debugging including tools such as Signal Tap.
* Familiarisation with TCP/IP and network protocols.
