Your normal day will involve:
* Reviewing project plans, blueprints, and specifications to define project scopes and requirements.
* Developing detailed cost estimates and budgets using specialized estimation software.
* Coordinating with engineers, project managers, and vendors to verify and update costs.
* Converting client inquiries into potential projects, following up, and building client relationships.
* Negotiating terms with suppliers and clients to align with project budgets.
* Attending stakeholder meetings to discuss project progression and estimate revisions.
* Preparing daily reports, summarizing project developments, and setting objectives for upcoming days.
This position is critical for supporting various large-scale projects in the structural steel, mechanical, and piping (SMP) sectors. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure competitive and precise cost management, vital for successful project acquisition across multiple industries in New South Wales.
