As an Analyst in Power, Utilities and Infrastructure of Global Investment Banking, you will deliver the resources of RBC Capital Markets to our corporate client base, primarily consisting of listed and unlisted corporations, government entities, infrastructure funds and private equity. What will you do? Transaction execution, including preparation of client presentations, process management and other duties Developing and reviewing financial models, conducting research and analyzing data to assist senior team members to advise clients Analytical and due diligence support on transactions and business development Work with the team in the development of pitch books and related client materials Begin gaining skills to develop relationships with peers / juniors at clients, begin understanding how to develop business opportunities Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities Proactively identify and escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions promptly Other such duties, responsibilities and authority as may be reasonably required, consistent with your background, experience and prior business activity What do you need to succeed? Must-have Willing to learn about all investment banking products including M&A, equity, debt, and convertible securities Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance and accounting Highly motivated with demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests Ability to take initiative and function well within a team Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with ability to create and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization Must maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct Nice-to-have Commerce, BA, BS or similar undergrad degree Previous Investment Banking experience desirable What’s in it for you?
