This will entail leading the team to achieve set company objectives including sales revenue and profit margins, managing all controllable expenses, operational KPIs (including manufacturing, distribution, installation/project supervision, sales, administration, safety), and focusing on ensuring that the Branch continues to expand and maximize business opportunities.You will be proactive in the marketplace by taking the lead, driving sales and prospecting initiatives to increase sales and market share in the region, as well as improving the company’s operational processes and systems (production and installation). You will call on a range of customers including Residential and Commercial Builders, Trade Contractors, building key relationships in the market, and fostering a strong sales and customer service environment.As a proven and successful “Hands on” Manager (or Senior Leader “wanting to step up”), you will:Have worked in medium to large sized manufacturing businesses ($10M+) in the building products industry ideally in a “made-to-order” and install product, i.e., residential and commercial windows and doors.Demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of the building & construction industry.Have experience in the management of personnel in manufacturing, fabrication/assembly, and installation including commercial construction projects.Provide a strong sales focus by proactively targeting new customers and building strong relationships with existing customers.Foster a safety environment and drive continuous improvement in production, systems, and processes.Understand commercial and financial drivers in business.Exhibit strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Manage, develop, and motivate a team; be “hands on,” proactive, energetic, results-oriented, a great problem solver, and resilient.Salary is commensurate with experience.
