Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has opened for an Assistant Product Manager to join the ICS (International Card Services) Lending Products Team.
This team is responsible for product refresh activity, new product development, commercial/margin improvement initiatives as well as ongoing portfolio and commercial management for our lending card portfolio across ANZ.
This role has a heightened focus on the NZ market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Product Manager on execution of the consumer Lending Card Product strategy across ANZ.
* Delivery of product refreshes, benefit uplifts/changes and special projects through partnership with functional teams.
* Support the Product Manager on strategic initiatives to maximize the Product P&L through a combination of account growth and margin enhancement.
* Manage and maintain strong relationships with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Servicing, Credit & Finance.
* Ensure high standard of product compliance, identifying and addressing any operational or regulatory risk.
* Management of any product changes across all collateral and assets and ownership of validation of these.
* Oversight of ongoing regulatory requirements, reviews & audits for AU and NZ lending products.
* Ongoing reporting on product metrics including benefit utilization, Card Member behavior, margin etc.
* Liaise with the internal marketing teams regarding product positioning, promotions, and go to market execution of campaigns.
Requirements:
* A strategic thinker and self-starter with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
* Strong commercial acumen, including ability to identify and size business opportunities.
* Proven project management experience with discipline to manage multiple projects running concurrently.
* A team player who is flexible and maintains a positive attitude even during changing work priorities.
* Analitically minded with the ability to turn data and research into actionable insights.
* A customer advocate with a pulse of trends shaping demand.
* Good understanding of Amex products and ANZ competitive landscape.
* Excellent written and oral communications skills to influence at all levels.
* Motivated, resilient, results-focused.
* At least 3-5 years' experience in a Marketing or Product environment.
