About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Alcohol and Other Drugs Senior Counsellor to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team.
The successful applicant will deliver high-quality evidence-based alcohol and other drug treatment and counselling services with a trauma-informed focus.
This role involves providing specialist assessments and treatments for individuals with complex needs, including co-morbid alcohol and other drugs and mental health issues.
You will also act as a consultant to other agencies and promote community awareness in relation to alcohol and other drugs.
Main Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based alcohol and other drug treatment and counselling services with a trauma-informed focus

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Knowledge of contemporary evidence-based practice used in the treatment and prevention of alcohol and other drug dependence
* A relevant tertiary qualification in the Alcohol and Other Drugs field
* Current Working with Children Registration
