About the Role This on-site role is based at our Geelong head office, working as part of a fast-paced and high-performing marketing team.
You will take full ownership of our social media execution, ensuring all content aligns with our brand's mission and drives measurable results.
Key responsibilities include managing the global social media strategy, overseeing PR agencies and influencers, and collaborating effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
About You ·Social Media Expertise: Demonstrated experience in creating viral content and utilizing video editing tools like CapCut or similar.
·Creative & Proactive: Ability to generate new ideas, identify trends, and continually improve content performance.
·Highly Organized: Skilled in planning, scheduling, and managing a content calendar effectively.
·Exceptional Attitude: We value ambition, resilience, and adaptability.
You will be a personable negotiator, securing influencer and press placements that align with our PR and influencer strategy.
·Strong Communicator: Capable of presenting marketing strategies to senior management and large audiences with confidence.
·Fast-Paced Environment: Proven ability to thrive and achieve high performance in dynamic settings.
Experience & Skills ·3+ years in a similar role, preferably within retail or e-commerce.
·Strong copywriting skills for social media, websites, and blogs.
·Proven track record in developing and executing social media marketing strategies.
·Experience with META (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
·Familiarity with managing PR agencies and influencer engagements, including negotiation of rates and usage.
·Keen eye for great content and eagerness to contribute innovative ideas.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities ·Social Media Management: Develop and execute content strategies across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and DotDigital (email) to drive engagement, brand awareness, growth, and sales.
·Content Creation & Planning: Create high-quality video content, carousel graphics, and engaging captions while maintaining a balanced mix of educational, entertaining, and promotional posts.
·Video Production: Film and edit original content as well as re-edit existing assets.
·Influencer & UGC Coordination: Write scripts for UGC creators, manage influencer collaborations, and ensure alignment with brand messaging.
·Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments and inbox messages to build a strong community connection.
·Performance Reporting: Produce comprehensive social media reports that highlight the success of posts, ads, and ROI analysis.
·Training & Development: Serve as the internal champion for social media, training new staff, and presenting at EMU Australia conferences.
·Campaign Management: Oversee affiliate programs, manage influencer databases, and collaborate on seasonal campaigns.
·Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the broader marketing team to ensure cohesive and strategic social media delivery.
