About the role This position is field-based and involves working as part of our local restoration teams. The successful applicant will deliver bush regeneration and revegetation projects. Activities will include herbicide application, manual weed work, erosion control and revegetation. Location: Lismore Contract: Casual Minimum Requirements Certificate in Conservation & Ecosystem Management or equivalent Minimum 1 year relevant work experience or equivalent voluntary experience Physically fit, motivated and capable of working in challenging outdoor environments Good communicator, effective at working independently and as part of a team Understanding and ability to follow WHS policies and procedures Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment Qualifications in Conservation and Ecosystem management/ OR higher education White card- Construction industry OH&S Proven experience working with weed control, bushland maintenance and bush regeneration and native plant identification relevant to Northern Rivers region. ACDC Licence Senior First Aid Chainsaw Certificate Level 1 & 2 Drivers Licence Selected candidates are required to provide proof of right to work in Australia and undertake a criminal record check.
