About Bomaderry's SIL Home
This home supports 5 male clients with acquired brain injuries. Support needs include mobility management, epilepsy management, personal care, and behavioural support. If you are a patient, empathetic, and skilled support worker who thrives in a dynamic environment, this role is for you.
The main shifts at this home include 6am - 2pm, 7am - 3pm, 9am - 2pm, 2 - 8pm, 4.30 - 8pm, 5pm - 9am (sleepover), and 10pm - 6am (active night).
Your New Role
1. Supporting adults with complex mental health, intellectual, and physical disabilities in an independent living model.
2. Following positive behaviour support and care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers.
3. Encouraging capacity building to enhance clients’ current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport, and accessing the community safely.
4. Promoting choice and control and showing willingness to participate in clients’ day-to-day routines, goals, and interests.
5. Providing personal care with dignity and respect.

Some Of Our Requirements
1. P2 NSW Drivers Licence or higher and your own vehicle.
2. Working with Children's check, NDIS Workers check, First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain.
3. We require staff to work on a 24/7 rotating roster so applicants must have full working rights and be able to work a minimum of 4 shifts per week.
