Providing cutting-edge technology to bolster global safety and security, they are currently in a phase of rapid growth and seeking driven professionals to help shape their innovative systems Your new role Our client is looking for a driven Radio Frequency Engineer to lead a motivated team, based in Sydney, Australia. Reporting to the Embedded Hardware Manager, with your core responsibility to lead a team of Electronic and RF Engineers while they develop world-class electronics for electronic detection and warfare products. You will also be an active part of operations, leading and demonstrating to the team how to operate within the field. What you'll need to succeed Bachelors degree in electronic engineering, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience. Extensive qualified experience working within an established team, within RF or similar field Experience leading technical development projects or development teams Strong Experience using and designing automated Verification and Validation frameworks. Practical experience using benchtop test equipment such as high-speed oscilloscope, spectrum analyser and signal generators. SCH and PCB design using Altium. RF hardware design theory and experience. Isolation, matching networks, filter specifications, etc. Switch-mode power supply design experience. Hardware design principles for battery power device applications. Theoretical and practical understanding of PCB layout techniques for high-speed digital and RF circuitry. Familiarity of applicable global and local radio standards for international radiators.
