Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager (Commercial) to join our team at CCG. The successful candidates will focus on identifying and engaging potential borrowers (direct, mortgage brokers, developers, construction), driving new business opportunities, and building strong relationships within the industry. This role is based in our Gold Coast office and may include some travel interstate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Acquisition of new broker and borrower lead scenarios
* Reviewing applications and validating information for accuracy and credit quality
* Growing our broker network through the addition of new brokers and partners
* Identify and target potential borrowers, including developers, construction companies, SMEs etc
* Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for lending
* Present CCG's lending solutions to potential clients, highlighting benefits and competitive advantages
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth loan application processes
What you bring:
* An existing broker network and industry relationships
* Experience working in a similar role with a lender
* Strong commercial finance product and credit understanding
* Ability to establish, develop and manage long-term commercial relationships
* Ability to develop a strategic plan to establish new lines of business
* Experience assessing construction loans and costings, highly regarded
* Pre-credit assessment experience is an advantage
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in business development, sales or a related field within finance or lending
* Strong understanding of commercial lending and the Australian property market
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
* Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of meeting targets
