The Role
Oversee food production and menu-based catering for retirement village residents
Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, staff mentoring, training & liaising with the client and other key stakeholders including residents
Ensure accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls, and maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness
Create and maintain nutritional menus with a focus on healthy eating
The Person
Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
Previous kitchen management experience in a similar role - strong leadership qualities, collaborative management skills and a passion for food
Experience in HACCP, food safety and infection control with a good understanding of IDDSI and the preparation of texture modified meals
Strong commercial acumen with good inventory management
