They manage key channel financial processes and work closely with the Channel Lead to review performance, develop monthly forecasts & annual budgets, lead pricing and promotional outcomes, and commercially assess marketplace activity to balance market share, revenue and profitability measures.Key responsibilities include:Tertiary and CPA / CA / CIMA qualifiedConfident Excel user - modelling, formulas, working with large data setsERP experience preferable (Netsuite used at H&H Group)Business partnering - forming strong relationships with business partners and understanding their businessForecasting - Developing & reviewing Channel and Operating Expenses forecast vs BUD; assessing and managing risks & opportunitiesCommercial scenario modelling to ensure activity has justifiable return on investment and follows appropriate decision-making protocolsSupport and deliver period end (month, half year, audit support) and ensure accurate reporting and accrualsBusiness partnering with Operating Expense business owners to ensure forecast spend is reviewed and in line with BudgetWe look for people who have what it takes to make an impact; who can challenge us to go further while pushing themselves to deliver exciting & ambitious results.To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:Strong Financial Accounting background ideally from FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing or BIG4 working with clients in these industriesFinancial accounting experience - month/year ends, intercompany accounting, audit, balance sheet management, inventory managementManagement accounting experience - developing analysis, reporting insights, scenario modellingCommercial finance experience desirable - working with P&Ls, pricing and scenario modellingCommunicating, influencing and building relationships with non-financial stakeholders - comfortable having constructive conversationsH&H Group believes in the benefits of a diverse & inclusive workplace & aims to reflect the varied cultures within which we exist.
