Our clinics offer comprehensive General Practice services as well as Allied health services, and we are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our patients.Role OverviewAs the Practice Manager, you will report to the GP owner of the practice and be supported by an Administrative Support Co-ordinator (2IC) along with a very friendly, understanding and inclusive team. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient and effective daily operations of our clinics, providing quality service to both our team and patients.Skills and Knowledge• Medical management experience, preferably in a General Practice.• Experience using Best Practice software or similar.• Proven success in leading and engaging a multidisciplinary team.• A positive and professional attitude with a desire to make a difference in the lives of our patients.• Ability to manage day-to-day operations, manage the team, demonstrate adaptability and have multitasking skills.• Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.• Accreditation experience is desirable.• Experience using accounting software Xero is beneficial.Key Responsibilities• Supervise doctors, nurses, and administrative staff.• Manage GP, Allied Health, Registrar, Nurse and Admin rosters.• Oversee phone systems, website management and appointment booking platforms such as Health Engine.• Oversee systems access, Best Practice configuration, and process improvements/projects.• Provide leadership to practice staff, maintain human resources systems, coordinate recruitment and staff development.• Manage payroll with support of bookkeeper, employee contracts and compliance.• Oversee financial operations including financial analysis, management reporting, and grant/health program management.• Advise bookkeepers on payments for SIP, PIP, WIP, GPTP, Registrars and medical students.• Manage vendor relationships, including purchasing, reviewing, and approving invoices.• Develop and implement strategies to achieve the practice's vision and goals.• Provide solution-focused management of clinic operations and resolve practice queries.If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity and contribute to the success of Sunshine Medical Centre & Family Practice, we want to hear from you!
