A strong understanding of travel technology and reservation systems is essential for success in this position.You will be self-motivated and driven, with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to build solid working relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and attributes:Experience documenting business process flowsExceptional analytical, problem solving, critical thinking skills and attention to detailCommitment to high standards of accuracy and detail, and the ability to inspire the same in othersExperience with the software development life cycle and methodologies including agile and waterfallProficiency with data analysis and visualisation tools as well as Microsoft SharePoint and the Office SuiteExperience with enterprise systems and travel technology solutionsProfessional personal presentation, along with strong verbal and written communication skillsHave a change and growth mindsetFamiliarity with Monday.com is advantageous; however, training will be provided.About The RoleReporting to the Executive General Manager Revenue & Analytics, this position will be part of our critical system transformation program of works for Journey Beyond’s Rail and Touring divisions.Key responsibilities will include:Collaborating with stakeholders to elicit and document detailed business stakeholder and technical requirements with a high attention to detailIdentifying opportunities to improve existing processes using new technology solutionsUsing data and analysis to help inform business decisions and define optimal processesCreating clear and comprehensive technical and functional documentation and process flowsWriting epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional designsWorking closely with stakeholders and developers to ensure business requirements and technical solutions alignWorking closely with Test Analysts to define test casesTracing business requirements to ensure they are met in the technical solutionLead change management processes and implementation support including stakeholder communications and delivering training sessionsSupport Technical Project Manager on project governance activitiesEnsuring successful alignment between business needs and technical solutionsContributing to the ongoing improvement of business analysis processes and methodologies within the organisationWork proactively with the GM of Business Improvement EGM of Growth and EGM Revenue & Analytics to align program activities with the goals of the overall Journey Beyond organisationWork closely with Data & Analytics and Application Development to align development activities with external software vendorsManagement of development backlog and prioritising development activitiesPrepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc reports and analysis for management and other key internal and external stakeholdersYou will be required to work with all levels of management, external software providers and consultants to ensure key business processes are defined and development activities are successfully deployed.
