Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.2. Collaborate with internal teams such as sales representatives and project managers to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.3. Conduct site visits when required to assess project requirements accurately.4. Prepare detailed quotes that outline all costs involved in the project, including labor, materials, subcontractors' fees if applicable.5. Review quotes with customers while addressing any questions or concerns they may have.6. Negotiate pricing terms with suppliers/vendors while ensuring quality standards are met.7. Maintain a database of suppliers/vendors' pricing information for efficient reference during estimations.8. Monitor market trends related to construction materials/pricing changes that may impact cost estimates.9. Assist sales representatives during client meetings/presentations by providing technical expertise on cost-related matters.10.Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding changes or updates in projects that may affect estimated costs.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Construction Management or a related field preferred but not mandatory; equivalent work experience will be considered.2.Proven track record as a Sales Estimator within the building/construction industry (minimum 3 years).3.Experience working on mid to large-scale construction projects.4.Demonstrated proficiency in using estimating software programs such as Bluebeam, Planswift, or similar.5.Excellent knowledge of local building codes and regulations.6.Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing from suppliers/vendors.7.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately.8.Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills for precise cost calculations.9.Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities for effective client interactions.Note: This is a full-time position based in Mulgrave, Victoria 3170, Australia.
