Program Overview Join our courageous and compassionate teams at Qhome residential crisis accommodation services. As a Specialist in adult Homelessness and Crisis Accommodation Services, Anglicare NQ provides Temporary Supported Accommodation and support to men and women aged 18 years and above who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. We work towards stability in their living arrangements, provide an environment of inclusion and respect, and address specific needs identified through our case management framework for smooth and safe transitioning into the community with successful outcomes. The residential crisis accommodation service supports our vulnerable people to meet their immediate personal needs and work towards obtaining stable, long-term accommodation as soon as possible. For this position, you'll need to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment, have fantastic interpersonal skills, and love collaborating with other divisions to create exceptional client experiences. To Be Successful You Will Need The ability to effectively lead a team to deliver service programs and ensure they remain aligned with organisational goals and objectives. Extensive experience working within government-funded programs. Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies, community organisations, and other service providers to promote the organisation and its services. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the capacity to motivate and effectively lead a team. Comprehensive knowledge of organisational programs, policies, and operations. Tertiary qualifications combined with relevant industry experience or extensive industry experience. Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families, and communities will be highly regarded. Experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds will be highly regarded. Out of hours may be required from time to time. Intra and interstate travel may be required. Compliance A current QLD driver's licence 'Class C' or interstate equivalent. Blue Card (Working with children card).
