With 25,500 employees, we provide care across south-eastern metropolitan Melbourne and rural Victoria from over 40 locations; via telehealth, within local communities and in people's homes.About the Role:Join our team as a paediatric Speech Pathologist on a permanent part-time basis, based at Monash Children's Hospital.This position will provide clinical services to paediatric inpatients and outpatients (communication and swallowing) and will support the clinical education of students. This role will incorporate general paediatric and neonatal inpatient and outpatient caseloads, as well as Monash Children's in the Home (Post Acute Care). The grade 2 speech pathologist forms part of a dynamic, evidence-based team and will be involved in service development and quality improvement projects to support high quality clinical care. There are opportunities for teaching and involvement in research in this fast-paced role in a hospital setting where speech pathology is highly valued.The Speech Pathology Service operating hours are standard business hours Monday to Friday. Across site work is expected within the inpatient role, specifically Casey and Dandenong Hospital. Travel around the local area is also expected within the Monash Children's in the Home portion of this role. A weekend service is provided by roster at Clayton site only. The Grade 2 Speech Pathologist will be expected to participate in the weekend roster.
