Guest Services – Motel Sunshine Coast Motel Sunshine Coast located in the picturesque Caloundra, is seeking a diligent, confident and organised Guest Services Allrounder to join our dedicated team in ensuring the cleanliness and enjoyment for all guests & staff.Mandatory Requirements: Advanced English (able to communicate fluidly with all guests)Confident, motivated and organisedExcellent communication skills and ability to resolve conflictsExceptional customer serviceAbility to work as part of a teamFlexible and willing to go over and aboveA genuine interest in interacting with people from different culturesStrive to remain as the highest-rated Motel in Sunshine Coast (Google 5, Booking.com 10 etc)Favourable Skills: Responsibilities / Core Function of the role: Experience working with Cloudbeds booking platform and point-of-sale transactionsExisting relationships with 3rd party booking platforms such as Hostel World, Booking.com,Expedia etcExperience working in Hotels, Motels or general Hospitality preferredDaily management of cloudbeds: Ensure all payment has been collected for all bookings via OTAs between 24-48 hours before check-in. Ensure all reservations have notes updated on their booking reflective of any communication with guests. Management of lockboxes and communication to guests in-regards to accessChecking guests in and out dailyData entry of guest information (phone, email, postcode, address, ID, and payment details)Providing a high level of customer serviceManagement of the phone 24/7Resolve guest's complaints or feedback in a positive, fast and efficient wayEncouraging staff in your team to provide 5-star customer service, be the exampleUse of merchant facilities and paymentsBe accountable, provide leadership and directionWork in coordination with the rest of the administration team and contribute to daily andweekly meetingsMaintain constant and effective communication with the different departments:housekeeping, maintenance etc.Supervise and monitor the Motel facilities, make sure everything is in perfect conditionEnsure the doors and locked turn off / down lighting each eveningManaging reservations and bookings, replying to messages on email, phone, social media and online travel agent platforms eg booking.com and ExpediaManagement of all reviews across OTA's and google.
