See yourself in our team Retail Banking Services Finance acts as Financial Advisor to the Retail Banking business. We ensure they succeed in delivering exceptional outcomes for both customers and shareholders. Retail Banking Services Finance forms part of the Financial Services business unit whose vision is to make a difference on the things that matter. The Customer Engagement & Digital business sits within RBS, with a focus on our Customers and furthering our Digital excellence. The purpose of the role is to help drive the strategic agenda for CE&D. This will involve delivering value-adding, insightful reporting and analysis to the CE&D EGM and Leadership Team, RBS CFO, and where relevant to Group Finance relating to the strategic direction and performance of the business. Do work that matters Monthly, Quarterly and Half Year/Year End reporting within RBS Finance (to Centre) and to the Business Critical insights and value-adding ad-hoc analysis and production of analysis and insights to drive RBS performance and strategy Business Partnering, with the ability to articulate key business drivers, provide critical insights to drive debate, and deliver value-add analysis across the CE&D portfolio; Preparation of high quality presentations and supporting analysis / insight for senior management (CE&D LT, RBS Group Executive, CFO, Retail Leadership Team and Group Finance); Preparing EGM CE&D for key meetings and deliver relevant insights and information to enable effective decision making; Answering ad hoc queries from the RBS CFO, Group Finance, RBS business and strategy; Build and maintain productive relationships with Finance and Non-Finance stakeholders; Promote a customer-focused high performing team culture, including ongoing knowledge transfer of the drivers of the retail banking portfolio; Contribute to team culture and nurturing work environment; Undertake any other tasks assigned by the GM Distribution Finance, which can be competently and safely performed We're interested in hearing from people who possess Degree qualified (Business or Finance) with 10 years post graduate experience Accounting qualification - CPA or CA Financial services experience preferred Excellent people management skills and experience Experience across a broad range of finance disciplines (could include financial control, management and financial accounting, regulatory reporting, technical accounting) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience in managing senior stakeholders Commercial awareness, analytical ability and experience Excellent Financial Control experience High degree of problem solving and analytical ability with a close attention to detail Is this your next challenge?
