Job Description

We are looking for an experienced casual VET Trainer/Assessor to deliver CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support Ageing/Disability within a face-to-face classroom setting 2 days per week (Wednesday and Thursday) in Munno Para, South Australia.
We offer a competitive daily rate, ongoing support from a dedicated Program Coordinator, and a rolling intake that provides consistent casual work opportunities!
As the successful candidate, you must be available to:
1. Deliver across 2 consecutive days (Wednesday and Thursday)
2. Be based in South Australia and able to commute to Munno Para, SA
3. Able to commence Mid/End January 2025
4. If you have not upgraded to the new CHC qualification, CHC33021 Certificate III Individual Support – Ageing/Disability, you MUST be enrolled to complete and able to provide evidence of enrolment.
5. Have relevant and current industry experience in Ageing/Disability (working in the relevant industry part-time, casual, volunteer) and able to provide evidence.
6. Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
7. Demonstrate experience in face-to-face delivery and assessment of training programs.
8. Have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the relevant vocational industry, including demonstrated experience in training and assessment in a competency-based training environment.
9. Have an understanding of nationally endorsed Training Packages and accredited courses.
10. Possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills.
11. Have experience delivering to Job Seekers.
12. Have a Working with Children Check.
As the Casual/Contract Trainer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Conducting training and assessments, student support, tracking, reporting student attendance, and completing relevant administrative tasks.
