Key Responsibilities Drive Performance: Lead initiatives that boost operational performance, with a focus on maximising efficiency and implementing impactful cost-saving measures.
Develop Strategic Plans: Craft and execute state-specific logistics strategies that align with Arrow's long-term vision and growth objectives.
Inspire Leadership and Team Development: Mentor, coach, and empower the Queensland team, building a high-performance culture that encourages accountability, professional growth, and operational excellence.
Ensure Compliance and Safety: Uphold the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to Arrow's HSE policies and procedures, Chain of Responsibility (Co R), and other transport regulations.
Engage with Clients and Stakeholders: Cultivate strong client relationships, drive customer satisfaction, and create opportunities for new partnerships as a trusted representative of Arrow.
Optimise Resource and Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational planning, focusing on meeting financial goals and maximising efficiency.
Qualifications Port Logistics Management/Operational Experience (Mandatory): Proven experience in Port Logistics or similar operational environments.
Team Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading, motivating, and developing teams with a focus on continuous improvement, safety, and high performance.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of logistics management software and operational technology to enhance productivity and decision-making.
Analytical and Negotiation Skills: Strong analytical abilities paired with negotiation expertise and vendor management experience.
Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of HSE, Co R, and other transport compliance requirements.
