About the role and team
We have a new opportunity for an experienced workers' compensation lawyer to join our growing Insurance practice based in our Perth office.
Our Insurance WA team has approximately 60 people located across Adelaide, Perth and Darwin. The Insurance WA team is a defendant insurance legal team, working across both General Insurance and Statutory Insurance matters, including workers' compensation, recoveries, compulsory third party, liability, professional indemnity and general insurance. This is a fantastic hands-on Insurance role, with significant learning, development and progression opportunities, and the opportunity to work with interesting clients, including some of Australia's top insurers.
Skills and experience
We are keen to hear from candidates with the following skills and experience:
* between 2 - 7 years of post-admission experience within Workers' Compensation;
* ideally you will have experience on the defendant side, however we will also consider candidates with a plaintiff background who are keen to move into a defendant practice;
* a genuine interest in building a career in workers' compensation law and contributing to the success of our practice;
* clear, concise legal writing skills; and
* strong attention to detail.
