Job Summary
We specialise in framework new-build domestic housing and are based in the Western suburbs, with our job locations ranging from but not limited to Rockbank, Thornhill, Aintree and Truganina. You will be working alongside a team of skilled carpenters and other apprentices to help you develop in the trade. Apart from learning to build both single and double story domestic homes, you will be required to work at heights, use both hand and power tools, use ladders, do some heavy lifting, and walk on external top plates. Driver’s license preferable OR pick-up and drop-off at Cobblebank Train Station. To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights. Trial Required before sign-up The successful candidate will be employed full time Mon-Fri 7am to 3.30pm, be paid award wages and receive training in a Certificate III Carpentry. All school fees will be paid for by the company. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude towards work, be self-motivated, proactive and have a willingness to learn. They must also be punctual, reliable, hardworking, a team player and have an attention to detail. To be eligible for this apprenticeship you must:
1. hold a valid driver's license,
2. hold a white card (can also be arranged by the company),
3. be an Australian citizen.

Role Description
Your responsibilities will be as follows, but not limited to:
1. Measure/cut timber and other materials
2. Follow building plans and marking out
3. Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames
4. Install structures and fixtures, such as trusses, windows, and doors
5. Fix ceiling and upper-level floor joists
6. Use of power tools and hand tools

Some framing knowledge/experience would be preferable.
