Your role in a nutshell: Assistant Manager: With your high levels of enthusiasm for our brand and belief in the way we do business you will share responsibility with the Store Manager to drive the store and team to deliver retail excellence and strong sales results. Current Salaries Based on Store Grading: Assistant Manager Westfield Belconnen: $57,500 (please note that our salaries based on store grading are currently under review with increases projected to take place from July 2025) Key duties of an Assistant Manager: Customer Experience - As an Assistant Store Manager, you will coach the team to achieve exceptional customer service standards in partnership with the store manager. You will oversee the operations and commercial practices of the store, both front and back of house, whilst maintaining harmony and efficiency on the shop floor. Our Assistant Store Managers are encouraged to lead and drive a customer focussed store experience on a day-to-day basis. You should help to ensure the development of consumer loyalty and awareness to help build The Body Shop brand. Delivery - Retail related beauty expertise is highly desirable. It is desirable for our Assistant Store Managers to be able to learn and use the internal systems and to be able to analyse performance to help manage the commercial side of the store. In the ever-changing world of retail, we need people who are able to monitor and manage change. Our Assistant Store Managers must be able to help control and meet sales/performance targets. We’re looking for individuals with strong relationship skills who are confident with coordinating between customers, the team and the manager. Our Assistant Store Managers have to have full knowledge of the beauty market, our competitors and have passion and love for our products Teamwork and People Management - Our people are at the heart of everything we do. Our Assistant Store Managers should be team players, able to assist the Store Manager and be quick to resolve issues.
