About PwC
At PwC, we work together to create a better tomorrow for our people, our clients, and the communities we serve. We approach problems with curiosity, collaboration and challenging the status quo to develop innovative solutions in partnership with Australian businesses and not-for-profits. Together, we strive to make a positive impact and drive meaningful change.
That’s where our people come in. Whether you’re just beginning your career or have plenty of experience under your belt, we believe your unique perspective can help us to deliver valued insights that make a real impact. Here, you’ll be surrounded by peers who have your back and leaders who support you, in an environment that encourages continuous learning and growth.
Our Optimise team in Sydney is expanding and we’re looking for a Manager (or Senior Associate) to join our vast community of solvers.
In the Sydney Partner Tax team, you’ll find yourself in a culture that values building and maintaining strong relationships with our partners and team. You'll be responsible for a portfolio of partner groups, delivering quality accounting, tax compliance and consulting services across a range of personal tax, business and commercial matters.
This includes advice on wealth creation structures, managing cash flows, and asset protection to enhance financial wellbeing of our partners as they move through all stages of the partnership journey - from admission to retirement.
In addition, you will be involved in designing and implementing solutions for new Partner Tax projects, processes, and compliance, to enable PwC to maintain the highest standards of governance and reporting across our partnership.
As a Manager (or Senior Associate) in the Partner Tax Team, the top three skills you’ll need to hit the ground running are:
* A solid background in accounting and tax, specifically relating to families or individuals with passive investments and/or small to medium sized businesses.
* Excellent communication skills, being able to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and the team.
* You are highly organized with strong project management skills, and a desire to manage your own portfolio.
Your new benefits
* Flexible working arrangements including working from home or from a different PwC Australia base office
* More opportunities to connect with loved ones, with the ability to work up to four weeks from anywhere in Australia and select international locations
* Health and lifestyle perks like a wellness credit and discounted memberships
* More family time with 26 weeks paid parental leave
* World-class development opportunities to accelerate your career
* Strong mentors, meaningful work and plenty of networking opportunities
* Dress for your day so you can feel confident and comfortable for whatever your day has in store for you
Our commitment to diversity and inclusion
To solve important problems we need diverse talent. We empower our people to use their creativity, authenticity and human differences to be the champions of change. We know that when people from diverse backgrounds and with different points of view work together, we create the most value - for our clients, our people and our society. If you don’t think you quite meet all of the qualifications, we’d still love to hear from you.
If you’re keen to apply and need reasonable adjustments or would like to note which pronouns you use at any point in the application or interview process, please let us know.
Nicola Broadbent is the Recruitment Manager for the role. As the team experiences high volumes of applications, we appreciate your patience to allow for a timely and fair process for all.
