The Principal of St Paul's Catholic Parish Primary School invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced personnel for this temporary part time position of School Support Officer - First Aid commencing 31 January 2025 until 19 December 2025 (working 5 hours per day).
This role necessitates a commitment to uphold the mission and objectives of the Catholic School, anchored by the core values of Integrity, Justice, Hope, and Compassion.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Include but are not limited to the following:
* Ability to provide First Aid student management & administrative support.
* Management of First Aid for students in sick bay & maintaining sick bay equipment.
* Management of excursion resources and communication with supervising staff.
* Provide student support via the student services counter.
* Hold a current First Aid Qualification HLTAID011 or higher.
* Ability to work with limited supervision.
DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA
* Previous experience in similar settings.
GENERAL CAPABILITIES

* Technical competence in relevant technologies.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Undertake the provision of first aid and administration of medications for students as required.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Requires knowledge and training equivalent to completion of certificate III, or completion of year 12 or completion of certificate II, with relevant work experience.
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
This role is classified as a child related work and therefore a working with children clearance is required prior to your commencement with us.
