Temporary Part Time / Full TimePosition Classification: Staff SpecialistRemuneration: $262,376 - $354,479Hours Per Week: 40Requisition ID: REQ558028Contract Dates: April 2025 - March 2029Applications close: Friday 18 April 2025What You'll Be Doing: The primary purpose of MNC Virtual Care is to reduce low acuity ED presentations, reduce preventable admissions and facilitate early hospital discharge.Provide effective and safe medical services within a virtual care framework.Provide education, supervision and support to junior medical staff, paramedics and nursing staff.Formulate and follow protocols to guide expansion of virtual care medical service.Liaise with NSW Ambulance and the Emergency Departments of the MNCLHD for patients referred to the service.Provide discharge summaries to Primary GPs at the time of discharge from the service.Remain up to date with best medical practice, specifically as regards Virtual Care medicine.Remain up to date with MNC Virtual pathways and directives.This is a Category A position.
