THE OPPORTUNITY
Join Abiomed at J&J, a leading medical device company, as an Associate Clinical Consultant for Australia and New Zealand. You'll drive patient growth and clinical outcomes for our innovative Impella product line, the world's smallest percutaneous heart pumps. This commercial-minded clinical role offers the chance to make a significant impact on patient care while working for a rapidly growing, globally recognized company.
This is an ideal opening for a health or medical professional looking to move into the commercial market where you can continue maximise your medical training and patient care.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide on-site clinical expertise for Impella implanting centers
* Ensure optimal patient outcomes through best-practice consultation
* Manage training programs for new and existing accounts
* Develop site superusers in Protected PCI and Cardiogenic Shock treatment
* Advise on protocol adoption and analyse institutional needs
* Drive patient growth and outcomes through direct customer relationships
* Educate stakeholders on hemodynamic support and clinical data
* Expand referral base and assist in program development
* Develop relationships with key opinion leaders
* Stay current on relevant literature and emerging trends
Qualifications
ABOUT YOU
* Clinical or technical degree in critical/intensive care, perfusion, or nursing
* 5+ years of clinical experience, with 2+ years in industry
* Experience in critical care, cardiac surgery, or mechanical circulatory support
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to travel 50% of the time and provide 24/7 emergency support
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and collaborative
* Fluent in English with excellent public speaking skills
