Funeral Consultant- Level 1/2 We require a full time Funeral Consultant, capable of planning and conducting Funerals. The successful applicant must show a high and proven focus on attention to detail, professionalism and the ability to go above and beyond.
You would be joining a fast paced, busy environment in one of the most respected Funeral Directors in Australia. The position joins a long standing established family business. Predominately based in Bunbury, the successful applicant would be located in the beautiful corner of South West of Western Australia. With only an hour and half's drive to Perth and an hour's drive from the Margaret River wine region. Located on the coast, the region provides all amenities needed.
The applicant would become a part of a dynamic team atmosphere that is focused on excellence in the services provided both to our families and the community. To be successful in this role you would need to be able to hit the ground running and be focused on the providing excellence in all that is requested by our families.
Key duties for this role include but are not limited to,
Assist and support relatives and friends through the planning and ceremony of the funeralWorking effectively with third parties for seamless service deliveryOverseeing and directing funeral assistantsTraversing the procedures and legal requirements of funeral arrangementsData entry and computer useOversight of accuracy of documents, permits and noticesTo be successful in your application the candidate must meet the following selection criteria:
Pro-active problem solvingAccurate, timely, respectful and professional written and verbal communication Compassionate, empathetic with a respectful and meticulous approach Ability to work as part of a teamComputing skills at a medium levelHigh time management and organisation skillsImpeccable presentationFlexibility to work evenings when neededAbility to participate in a weekend after hours roster and extended hoursRelevant experience expected The successful candidate would need to bring 3-5 years relevant experience and hold a current Driver's License. A police clearance will also be required.
