The Opportunity – Senior Associate (Corporate & Commercial) We're thrilled to offer an exciting role for an Associate or Senior Associate to join the Corporate & Commercial team at our client's Adelaide office.
In this diverse role, you'll engage in a variety of corporate and commercial matters, including:
Private M&A and outsourcing transactions. Intellectual property, with a focus on trademarks. Compliance, regulatory advice, and corporate governance. Property law, including leasing and conveyancing. You'll work across multiple sectors, including financial services, health, and not-for-profit industries. With mentorship from experienced Principals and Special Counsels, you'll have the guidance and support to advance your career.
Key Responsibilities: Lead contract review, drafting, and negotiation across procurement, operations, and property leasing. Manage corporate transactions, from due diligence to post-acquisition integration. Provide innovative strategies to mitigate legal risks. Maintain and oversee the company's High Q contract management system. Offer commercially focused legal advice on a range of business projects. Support regulatory investigations, dispute resolution, and employment matters. Ensure compliance by maintaining ASIC registers and filings. What You Bring to the Role: 3–8 years PQE in a corporate and commercial legal role, gained in private practice or in-house. Expertise in corporate transactions, commercial contracts, and governance matters. Exceptional communication and organizational skills. A positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to teamwork and collaboration. A strong work ethic and enthusiasm for learning and career development.
