Our client, a leading Townsville organisation, is seeking a skilled Finance Officer to provide essential financial support. This role focuses on managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance, and overseeing payroll and accounts receivable processes. ASAP start for the successful candidate until December 2025. Key Responsibilities: Process weekly payroll and address related queries. Process day-to-day financial transactions, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Ensure accurate reconciliation of financial data in line with accounting principles. Support financial forecasting with timely and accurate data. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, payroll regulations, and cash management policies. Manage customer accounts, generate invoices, and follow up on overdue payments. Collaborate with HR for accurate employee records and payroll compliance. Contribute to strategic planning and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards. Essential Criteria: Prior experience in a similar role. Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations. Strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and financial management systems. Experience with TechOne is highly regarded.
