Randstad is recruiting for an AO4 Program Officer to join a state government department on the Gold Coast. This role will be in the Natural Disaster Program team, who are responsible for project managing recovery and reconstruction works following a natural disaster.
In the role of Program Officer, you will provide support to program and project managers, to contribute to effective management of programs and projects.
Key Duties:
* Monitor regional office projects for data quality and make changes depending on project timelines.
* Collate, schedule, monitor and report on the performance and status of program/project and financial support activities.
* Prepare, contribute and negotiate solutions for identified conflicts in projects.
* Monitor project spend and take appropriate action to mitigate under/overspends.
* Research data and provide solutions
* Operating multiple softwares and programmes, including SAP, Excel and Primavera P6.
Experience/Skills required:
* Previous experience in a program/project management support position.
* Experience managing monthly accruals and cash flow predictions.
* Confident using systems including Primavera P6, 3PCM Unifier, and SAP.
* Proven ability adhering to deadlines.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Current holder of class C driver’s licence.
* Able to undergo employment screening as part of the process including a criminal history check.
This is a 12 month assignment with potential for extension, based in Nerang. The role is an AO4 position, $57.92/hour plus super.
