About the Role
We are seeking a qualified accountant with experience managing the finances of a medium-sized sales and distribution company to join our team in Melbourne Southern Suburbs.
The successful candidate will have expertise in ERP software, inventory management, payroll, regular reporting, and interactions with auditors, the ATO, and other statutory bodies.
Responsibilities
* Manage the client's financial activities, including financial statements and reports
* Lead the small customer service team, setting standards, identifying areas for improvement, and resolving challenging issues
* Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and team performance
Requirements
* Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
* Experience: 3+ years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a sales and distribution company
* Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office
