Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing health, safety, and environmental policies across the business. This role offers autonomy and flexibility, allowing you to balance site visits and office-based work as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain HSE policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.Conduct site visits and risk assessments to promote a safe working environment.Provide guidance and support to teams on HSE best practices.Build a strong safety culture across all levels of the business.Monitor and report on HSE performance and recommend improvements.Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors.Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety into daily operations.Keep up to date with industry best practices and legislative changes.To Be Successful:Minimum 5+ years of experience in a construction safety role.Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, industry best practices, and compliance requirements.A proactive, hands-on approach—comfortable being both onsite and in the office.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.A collaborative and approachable nature, with the ability to work independently.
