We are currently looking for a couple to complete our small team, working approximately 20 hours per week each. We are a family-operated tourist park located just 6km from Corryong, offering a range of accommodation options and stunning natural surroundings, including mountain views and a crystal-clear trout stream. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all our guests.
This position is ideal for a retired couple seeking a new adventure or those travelling through the region who want to immerse themselves in the beauty of North East Victoria. A day in the life:
As part of our team, your day will be a mix of office administration and park maintenance. You'll handle guest check-ins, phone inquiries, and daily banking, while also assisting with cleaning and ensuring guests have an enjoyable stay. Outdoors, you'll help maintain the park by mowing, repairing facilities, and delivering firewood. In busier times, you may assist with fun guest activities. Your friendly attitude, problem-solving skills, and hands-on approach will ensure both guests and the park are well taken care of.
The Role As part of our team, you will assist our managers in the day-to-day running of the park, ensuring both guests and grounds are well looked after. This unique role involves sharing responsibilities for both office administration and park maintenance.
Duties Include:
Reception & Office Duties:
* Guest check-ins and check-outs
* Handling phone calls and customer inquiries
* Daily reconciliation and banking
* Assisting with cleaning as needed
Grounds & Maintenance:
* General park maintenance (mowing, cleaning, and repairs)
* Maintaining park facilities and equipment
* Assisting with guest activities (e.g., outdoor movie nights)
* Delivering firewood to guests and ensuring a pleasant stay
Skills & Experience Required:
* Excellent customer service with a friendly, 'can-do' attitude
* Physically fit and able to handle the demands of park upkeep
* Basic computer skills (experience with RMS is beneficial)
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
* Maintenance or handyman skills (a trade certificate is desirable)
* A valid driver's licence
* Understanding of OH&S responsibilities
