The role(s) report to the Managing Director and broadly involve:Providing environmental and regulatory advice to clients.Preparing and coordinating environmental impact assessment (EIA) documents, including offshore Environmental Plans (EPs), onshore Environmental Management Plans (EMPs), EPBC Act Referrals.Coordinating (scope, manage, and review) specialist consultants to deliver technical studies used to support EIA (e.g., ecology, heritage, and modelling studies for oil spill, underwater sound, produced formation water, drill cuttings, and muds dispersion) and summarising and interpreting results for EIA reports.Participating in and/or facilitating risk assessment workshops.Assisting clients with stakeholder consultation.Liaising with government regulators.Working closely with company engineering teams to refine project designs.Assisting clients with project implementation readiness and assurance management, end-of-project auditing.Preparation of project proposals.Specific Requirements:10+ years' relevant experience.Self-sufficient in coordinating and preparing offshore environmental approvals.Working knowledge of Commonwealth (NOPSEMA) and state-based environmental and industry-specific legislation.Managing compliance programs.Working knowledge of risk assessment methods.Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail.Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.Tertiary qualification in Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, or similar.
