We are looking for people who want to take on this challenge with us and are ready to contribute to the growth of the firm.As a Portfolio Community Executive, you will work closely with the Head of Portfolio Management and Head of Marketing to help manage physical and online communities. You will be responsible for community building by helping execute marketing plans with the support of the Marketing Lead as well as nurturing a portfolio of high-growth startups for KPMG with the support of the Head of Portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the KPMG High Growth Ventures team and make a difference within the Australian ecosystem.Responsibilities:As the High Growth Ventures Portfolio Community Executive, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting the Head of Portfolio Management in delivering a best-in-class community experience for our clients. Owning the community aspect of the portfolio and delivering excellent client experiences, resolving any issues proactively
2. Working closely with the Head of Portfolio Management, providing invaluable sales support across the deal lifecycle.
3. Supporting the Head of Marketing in delivering a strategic calendar of community events and lifecycle campaigns across Sydney and Melbourne including pre content deliverables and post content wrap up.
4. Developing a supportive and inclusive environment for Founders and coordinating our online portfolio community.
5. Supporting the development of lead nurture campaigns to attract and retain leading Australian tech startups to the portfolio.
6. Monitoring and developing content opportunities for potential case studies of portfolio clients to showcase the breadth of services KPMG High Growth Ventures offers.
7. Support the development and continued optimisation of sales and marketing related tools and collateral
QualificationsAt KPMG, we believe diversity of thought, background, and unique experience strengthens relationships and delivers meaningful benefits to our people, our clients, and our communities.To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience should include:
8. At least 1-2years of sales, marketing, community building or other relevant relationship or account management / BD experience
9. Finance or accounting experience is highly advantageous
10. Understanding of startup sector trends, issues, needs and recent developments is highly advantageous as well as a genuine passion to work with startups
11. A self-starter with an ability to effectively work cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders
12. Highly developed communication and influencing skills to drive outcomes
13. Positive attitude and ability to drive collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams
14. A proven ability to create compelling proposals and value propositions including proficiencies with the tools to develop proposals ( excel, PowerPoint)
15. Excellent time management and organisational skills
16. Networking skills - being able to communicate with 300+ portfolio clients
17. Experience with CRM systems (Hubspot preferred) and use of data in the sales cycle
18. Experience with LinkedIn account management beneficial
