The Role Supporting the Engineering Services team across 3 processing plants, the Engineering Foreperson will play a crucial role in developing strategies that align with production requirements and the long-term goals of the plant. Joining a larger Engineering team of 80, you will personally lead a team of 12 providing hands-on support and coaching where required. To support the wider Engineering team, both Mechanical and Electrical trade backgrounds are urged to apply. Reporting to the Executive Manager of Engineering, Projects & Innovation, your duties will include (but not be limited to): Overseeing the quality of works to ensure it is to an acceptable standard and that any issues are resolved in a timely manner. Assisting the Engineering Services Management team to develop, implement and review department specific policies and procedures. Leading regular meetings with Engineering Services personnel to ensure the efficient and timely flow of information throughout the department. Conducting training needs assessments of engineering services personnel to identify skills shortages and potential training opportunities. About You Our ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing and production background, with exceptional leadership skills, capable of mentoring and fostering a strong team culture. They will have the ability, and credentials, to provide hands-on assistance with associated maintenance tasks when required.
