The role: As a talented Manager, Software Development you will lead our International Engineering team. In this role, you will oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery. You will act as a key problem-solver, removing blockers, handling escalations, and guiding the team's daily development activities. As a leader, you will also mentor, train, and enhance processes, while driving talent acquisition in our Australian office to meet project demands. You will collaborate closely with external stakeholders to provide project updates, align with engineering goals, and work with the Product team to plan roadmaps, priorities, and resources. As a solutions driven Manager, Software Development at Verra Mobility you will: Lead and manage multiple development teams, including developers, QA, and team leaders, across both Waterfall and Agile projects. Collaborate cross-regionally with teams in the US, UK, and India, fostering effective communication and alignment. Partner with Architects and Leads on technical designs, POCs, and solution projects to ensure robust development. Drive continuous improvement by refining development processes, managing team performance, and overseeing project backlog and team capacity. Engage with external stakeholders for project updates, while attracting, hiring, and mentoring talent to build a strong development team. Who are you?
