About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Health, Safety & Environment (HSSE) Advisor to complete and investigate HSSE audits in your dedicated state and territories. This is a 12-month contract role.
Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day completion of HSSE audits on the iAuditor and/or any other relevant digital platform
* Investigate and correct issues found within the audit across all aspects of a United Petroleum site - recommend and implement corrective actions
* Work closely with Commission Agents and Franchisees to ensure compliance in all areas to optimize organisational and strategic performance
* Monitor site compliance with various regulations in regard to safe working practices, Food Safety, and Occupational Health and Safety
* BUILD A STRONG PARTNERSHIP WITH ALL RELEVANT STAKEHOLDERS WITHIN THE UNITED PETROLEUM GROUP TO SUPPORT A CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT CULTURE
About You:
You should have previous experience working as a Health & Safety Auditor or Investigator (within the petroleum and/or fast-food convenience stores is highly desirable)
Strong understanding of all relevant HSE legislation and relevant standards (e.g.: ISO:14001; ISO45001; AS:1940)
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or Relevant Industry Experience
Advanced computer skills on MS Office
High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Ability to build rapport and develop long-term relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have a current car driver's licence and will be required to travel regional and interstate that involves overnight stays
