What you'll need to be successful
1. Relevant engineering and/or project management qualifications.
2. Postgraduate qualifications in Project Management are desirable.
3. Experience in community infrastructure, earthworks, drainage, road construction, and buildings.
4. A collaborative management style to build a close, outcome-focused team.
5. Strong commercial acumen, leadership, and negotiation skills.
6. Excellent communication & relationship-building skills with various stakeholders (subcontractors/managing contractors, internal stakeholders, and suppliers).
7. Excels at organisation, time management, problem-solving, and budgeting.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
9. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

2. This position is a full-time, term-based appointment until 31 December 2026.
3. This is an annualised salary rate + superannuation.
4. The position will be based primarily at our Flood Portfolio Office in Lismore. Flexible work options are available, working within operational requirements.
