Account / Brand Manager - Wholesale Clothing
We are a well established Australian owned company that sells products into major retail chains across Australia including department stores, big box retailers, supermarkets and large boutique chains.
We have a new opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join our head office team who manage key channels to market across Australia and New Zealand.
The vast majority of this role will be office based at Head Office in Broadmeadows, with occasional trips to NZ and local customers but it is predominantly office based.
The role is heavily focused on:
1. Building the sales and brand identity within retailers
2. Working with Designers on range development, pricing and selection for specific channels and retailers
3. Doing in-depth analysis on sales, trends, pricing etc. to get the right stock and the right sell through
4. Working with internal and client marketing to align campaigns, messaging and timing to grow sales
5. Looking at potential new clients in the marketplace to grow channels
6. Managing an existing group of clients including NZ and online channels
7. Ensuring the operational requirements function efficiently between us and our clients by working with internal departments
The role reports to the COO and will be responsible for not only managing and growing existing accounts but also profitability of those clients and pursuing new markets as well.
We are looking for someone who ideally has experience selling into major retailers of FMCG and who has:
1. Great building relationship skills
2. Strong analytical skills around sales, pricing, margin and inventory
3. Good knowledge of sales campaigns, brand identity and positioning
4. A team player who can work across various internal and external departments
This is not a role where you are on the road weekly door knocking and visiting clients. Most of the time will be analysis, strategic planning, operational management of the accounts from head office. No WFH.
