We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Director (or equivalent) to lead our IP Transport Core Transmission and Access Engineering team. Reporting to the Sr Director, IP Transmission Engineering, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, performance, and planning of the IP Transport Core & Access network. This role involves defining network architecture, managing the lifecycle of software and hardware, and ensuring that solutions are effective, resilient, and conform to architectural guidelines.
The day to day
* Lead a team of multidisciplinary technical leads, specialists, and engineers.
* Define network architecture, design, configuration, and lifecycle management.
* Ensure solutions developed for or by other business units are effective and resilient.
* Maintain the ongoing platform integrity and performance.
* Create and maintain the platform roadmap for the Common Packet Core, IP Access, and management network.
* Set the strategic direction for network growth, resiliency, architecture, design, and platform management.
* Drive a reduction in long-term unit cost while meeting CX KPIs.
* Onboard new devices in the network to ensure plans meet CX KPIs and investment is targeted.
