About the role
Based in Sydney, NSW, this opportunity will see you join our multi-disciplined, in-house engineering team to work on an upcoming major HV Transmission Line project. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Provide structural design works supporting Transmission lines tenders and projects. The design work involves design of support structures and foundations,
* Provide profession leadership for the discipline group of engineers, with particular focus in the following areas:
o Technical Matters
o Timeliness and Cost of Design
o Constructability and Construction Cost
o Facility Whole-of-Life Cost
o Construction, Operation, Maintenance, and Demolition Safety
* Fulfil the role of Designer, Checker, Verifier, and/or Design Discipline Leader in the provision of engineering works,
* Certify professional engineering work as being compliant with relevant codes and standards,
* Develop technical specification documents and reports,
* Continually develop engineering skills in accordance with Engineers Australia CPD requirements,
* Technical support throughout construction activities as required,
* Consider safety in the conduct of all activities.
About You

* Relevant engineering tertiary qualifications
* Strong understanding of principles of tower design and foundation design.
* Proficiency in PLS CADD, PLS Tower and PLS Pole.

* Ability to work independently, organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, and set and meet deadlines.
* Registration as a Chartered Engineer (CPEng), NER and RPEQ
